Why am I here?

This question has been ringing in my mind for the past few days or maybe the week and I did share some stuff during cellgroup. I love to think about this question as it will just re-affirm my existence here on this beautifully created world.

Why am I here? I ask myself and I was having a chat with God about it too. Things happening around the world, namely; 9-11, Iraq war, Tsunami, Hurricanes at US, SARS, SiChuan Earthquake, H1N1 and many other happenings in this time that I am here and that I am able to witness it. It just hurts my hearts that many lives are just being taken away innocently by all this happenings and I just wonder why. Why do I have to see and feel all this things? As I was talking to God about it, one thing just came into my mind - I am the salt and light to the world! The gospel & love of God has to be spread to all people on this earth.

Many of deprived of hope, love, assurance, peace, safety, acceptance, strength, understanding and tolerance. The world is advancing fast into many things and it is also falling very fast in many sense. It is driven by the lust for wealth, fame and pleasure. It just takes one act of kindness and love to a life and that life will be touched forever. God works in mysterious ways and I pondered upon that. Eversince I am here in Liverpool, the Lord has been working in my life in mysterious ways that I never imagined or could even ask for. All I did was just send requests to heaven and obeyed whatever He said.

Jeremiah says (33:3) "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know". I did exactly as what this verse says and I got my answer to what the Lord says great and mighty things that I do not know. As time flies and it's already early July, I know deeply why am I here in Liverpool - besides just getting my Degree certificate but things that God wants me to see and experience. As I go along my journey in life, it won't be easy but I know that as I have a foot into what God has for me to be a perculiar person to be a blessing to people around me, I WILL.

Challenges and difficulties are always in my way whether is it on the outside or even in my ownself, I know that by knowing my purpose here just boosts me further to do more for God. I will seek His kingdom and His righteousness and God will add to me anything and everything. I just hope that Christians out there will ponder and talk to God about the purpose of your existence here on earth. You are special and important-you must know that! Whether you are a Christian or not, your life here on earth is a SIGNIFICANT one! Jesus died for us because He knows that we are very special people and made us child of God. I am happy to be one. Are you?
